‘Everything all gone to pot...?’ Hardly.

What's remarkable about the catalogue of goofs and gaffes that made it to the screen during the filming of the first series of Survivors is not how many there are — but how few.

Given the ruthlessly tight schedule that all the Survivors production units had to stick to, it's little short of amazing that the number of glitches is so small. The creators of the programme all seem to have shared a commitment to sustaining the realism and atmosphere of the drama — helping to make the show's storylines that much more believable.

That said, spotting those few goofs and gaffes that did slip past the eagle-eye of Terry Dudley's team of directors is a 'guilty pleasure' that fans of the show are surely allowed to enjoy? Presented here is a mixture of unwanted extras, mismatching sets, uncooperative props, and intrusive camera equipment that gatecrashed their way into the first series of the show.
