{"id":1442,"date":"2016-06-21T18:21:35","date_gmt":"2016-06-21T17:21:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.survivors-mad-dog.org.uk\/blog\/?p=1442"},"modified":"2016-06-21T18:21:35","modified_gmt":"2016-06-21T17:21:35","slug":"big-finish-commit-to-series-six-and-seven-of-survivors-audio-dramas","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.survivors-mad-dog.org.uk\/blog\/2016\/06\/21\/big-finish-commit-to-series-six-and-seven-of-survivors-audio-dramas\/","title":{"rendered":"Big Finish commit to series six and seven of Survivors audio dramas"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Audio-drama specialists Big Finish have announced a commitment to produce a further two series of original <em>Survivors<\/em> audio adventures, based in the time and place of Terry Nation&#8217;s original 1970s TV show. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bigfinish.com\/releases\/v\/survivors-series-06-1507\" target=\"_blank\">Series six<\/a> will be released in June 2017, with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bigfinish.com\/releases\/v\/survivors-series-071-1508\" target=\"_blank\">series seven<\/a> following in November 2017.<\/p>\n<p>The announcements follows the release, earlier this month, of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bigfinish.com\/releases\/v\/survivors-series-04-1249\" target=\"_blank\">critically-acclaimed fourth series of <em>Survivors<\/em> audios<\/a>. Recording of series five has already completed, and is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bigfinish.com\/releases\/v\/survivors-series-05-1250\" target=\"_blank\">scheduled for release<\/a> in November 2016.<\/p>\n<p>All <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bigfinish.com\/ranges\/v\/survivors\" target=\"_blank\">four series released to date<\/a>, along with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bigfinish.com\/releases\/v\/survivors-by-terry-nation-audiobook-1147\" target=\"_blank\">audio-book version of Terry Nation&#8217;s 1976 <em>Survivors<\/em> novel<\/a>, are available to buy from the Big Finish site. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bigfinish.com\/releases\/v\/survivors-series-05-1250\" target=\"_blank\">Series five<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bigfinish.com\/releases\/v\/survivors-series-06-1507\" target=\"_blank\">series six<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bigfinish.com\/releases\/v\/survivors-series-071-1508\" target=\"_blank\">series seven<\/a> are available for pre-order. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.survivors-mad-dog.org.uk\/blog\/?attachment_id=1425\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-1425\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.survivors-mad-dog.org.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/Big_Finish_Survivors_series_five_slipcover.jpg?resize=600%2C600&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"Big Finish - Survivors - series five - slipcase\" width=\"600\" height=\"600\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1425\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Audio-drama specialists Big Finish have announced a commitment to produce a further two series of original Survivors audio adventures, based in the time and place of Terry Nation&#8217;s original 1970s TV show.
