THE SEVENTH SERIES of original Survivors<\/em> audio adventures, released later this month, is previewed in a four-page full-colour feature<\/a> in the new free-to-read issue of Big Finish’s Vortex<\/em> magazine.<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Discussing the upcoming series are director Ken Bentley, producer David Richardson, script editor Matt Fitton, writers Simon Clark, Christopher Hatherall and Roland Moore, and Helen Goldwyn (Ruth).<\/p>\n

Of his opening episode “Journey’s End”, new-to-Survivors<\/em> writer Moore says, enticingly:<\/p>\n

\nIn story terms we are picking up Abby’s search for her son after other events had taken up her time. And as Matt and I discussed various approaches to the opening episode, Matt wondered if Abby’s faith in Peter’s survival could be finally faltering and she might face the possibility that she’d never find him. So I took that and ran with it. In fact, when I submitted my idea I was worried it might be too much \u2013 but it wasn’t\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Series seven is still available for pre-order<\/a> (in both CD and digital download formats) on the Big Finish site, while the previous six series (and the audiobook version of Terry Nation’s 1976 Survivors<\/em> novel) are all available for purchase<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Series eight of Survivors<\/em> audios will be released in June 2018; with series nine following in November 2018.<\/p>\n
