{"id":2106,"date":"2018-10-23T17:23:54","date_gmt":"2018-10-23T17:23:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.survivors-mad-dog.org.uk\/blog\/?p=2106"},"modified":"2018-10-22T23:24:55","modified_gmt":"2018-10-22T23:24:55","slug":"big-finish-release-survivors-audios-series-eight-trailer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.survivors-mad-dog.org.uk\/blog\/2018\/10\/23\/big-finish-release-survivors-audios-series-eight-trailer\/","title":{"rendered":"Big Finish release Survivors audios series eight trailer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>BIG FINISH HAVE released the trailer for the upcoming eighth series of <em>Survivors<\/em> audio adventures.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It had previously been revealed that this latest series of audio dramas will feature the resolution of Abby Grant long search for her missing son Peter, although there&#8217;s no guarantee that this long-anticipated meeting will be a joyous one.<\/p>\n<p>The new 1m 6s trailer focuses on the characters of Abby and Jenny (Greg does not appear to feature in series eight) and suggests that Abby&#8217;s and Peter&#8217;s reunion will occur in the context of an armed conflict between different groups over scarce resources. <\/p>\n<p>Details of the episode titles, scriptwriters and key cast members were announced by Big Finish<a href=\"https:\/\/www.survivors-mad-dog.org.uk\/blog\/2018\/09\/12\/more-details-released-of-series-eight-of-big-finish-survivors-audios\/\">back in September<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"100%\" height=\"300\" scrolling=\"no\" frameborder=\"no\" allow=\"autoplay\" src=\"https:\/\/w.soundcloud.com\/player\/?url=https%3A\/\/api.soundcloud.com\/tracks\/516112494&#038;color=%23ff5500&#038;auto_play=false&#038;hide_related=false&#038;show_comments=true&#038;show_user=true&#038;show_reposts=false&#038;show_teaser=true&#038;visual=true\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>Now scheduled for release in December 2018 (a month later than the previously rescheduled November date) <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bigfinish.com\/releases\/v\/survivors-series-08-1617\"><strong>series eight of <em>Survivors<\/em><\/strong><\/a> is available to pre-order at \u00a325 on CD or \u00a320 on download.
