IAN MCCULLOCH HAS today been confirmed as a guest at the Popcorn convention in Sheffield on 10 September 2023.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ian McCulloch starred as Greg Preston in the BBC\u2019s cult post apocalyptic 70\u2019s TV series Survivors<\/em> and most recently in Big Finish\u2019s popular audio productions of the series. He had leading roles in the Italian horror films Zombie Flesh Eaters<\/em> AKA Zombi II <\/em>(1979) by Lucio Fulci, Zombie Holocaust<\/em> (1980) by Marino Girolami, and Contamination<\/em> (1980) by Luigi Cozzi. Zombie Flesh Eaters<\/em> was originally banned in the UK as part of the 1980s campaign against \u201cVideo Nasties\u201d. McCulloch has had supporting roles in studio films such as \u201cWhere Eagles Dare<\/em> (1968) with Richard Burton and Clint Eastwood, and Cromwell<\/em> (1970) with Alec Guinness and Richard Harris. In addition, he has appeared in successful independent films, most notably The Ghoul<\/em> (1975) with Peter Cushing and John Hurt. Ian has also guest starred in many TV series, including: Colditz<\/em> (1974), Return of the Saint<\/em> (1978); Hammer House of Horror<\/em>\u2019s episode \u201cWitching Time\u201d with Patricia Quinn (1980); The Professionals<\/em> (1980), episode \u201cMixed Doubles\u201d, in which he played the physical fitness and close quarters combat instructor of Bodie and Doyle; and as Nilson in the Doctor Who<\/em>, serial \u201cWarriors of the Deep\u201d with Peter Davison (1984).<\/p>\nPopcorn convention<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Also confirmed as Popcorn guests<\/a> are Sarah Sutton, Peter Davison, Clare Higgins, Kenneth Cranham, Madeline Smith, Patricia Quinn and Michael Carter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Autographs and photo opportunities can be purchased with all guests appearing on the day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
