EVEN THE MOST dedicated Survivors <\/em>enthusiast is likely to acknowledge that the series is a minority interest even amongst hardcore fans of British genre TV.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

When compared to fan communities that embrace Blake\u2019s 7<\/em> or Doctor Who<\/em>, the numbers of active, enthused and engaged Survivors <\/em>fans is relatively modest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That simple fact makes it all the more pleasing to report that the new book on series one of Survivors <\/em>has been so well received and has sold encouragingly well in its first few months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All profits from sales of the book are being donated to the international medical charity M\u00e9decins Sans Fronti\u00e8res<\/a><\/em> (aka Doctors Without Borders<\/em>), and the book has already generated more than \u00a3530 in profits \u2014 which is a great achievement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What will make a huge difference to sales in coming months is spreading the word of the book\u2019s existence to new readers \u2014 and that\u2019s where I could use your help.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sharing news of the book on social media, posting reviews on Amazon<\/a> or Goodreads<\/a> or anywhere else will help to lift the profile of the book. If your local library takes readers\u2019 suggestions, why not recommend the book for purchase? Let your family, friends and work colleagues who might be interested know about the book! Everything and anything you could do to share the news will help.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
