Survivors series three on DVD

November 2005 saw the long-anticipated release of the third series of Survivors on DVD by DD Home Entertainment. For this final release, the 'special features' comprised:

• A new DVD-exclusive documentary on the making of the third series entitled New World Rising, featuring on-camera interviews with directors Peter Jeffries and Tristan de Vere Cole, an actors Stephen Dudley [John] and Lucy Fleming [Jenny]

• Episode commentaries on Mad Dog (with director Tristan de Vere Cole and guest-star Morris Perry [Fenton]) and Law of the Jungle (with director Peter Jefferies and Lucy Fleming [Jenny])

• A photo gallery of BBC promotion stills and behind-the-scenes shots by Denis Lill

• Fully-illustrated Viewing Notes booklet, documenting the history of the programme and introducing each of the twelve episodes of the series, authored by consultant on the release Andy Priestner

• A hidden 'Easter Egg' feature

Screen-caputes from the New World Rising documentary, part of the special features section of the series three Survivors DVD set, featuring Lucy Fleming (Jenny Richards), Tristan de Vere Cole (director), Peter Jefferies (director) and Stephen Dudley (John Millon).
